These Fried Ravioli are AWESOME! They’re coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and fried until golden brown, then topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. You’re gonna love them!

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces Ravioli
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Set up your dredging station using three shallow bowls. Put flour in the first bowl. Beat eggs with a splash of water in the second bowl. Mix the breadcrumbs and parmesan in the third bowl
  2. Dip each ravioli in the flour, egg, and then breadcrumbs, pressing lightly lightly to make sure they’re completely coated. Set aside on a tray
  3. Pour oil into a saucepan and heat to 350 F
  4. Fry the ravioli in small batches until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes depending on their size
  5. Remove from the oil and place on a baking rack to cool
  6. Sprinkle with a little salt, parmesan cheese, or chopped parsley and serve with a cup of marinara sauce (optional)

Notes

  • You can bread the ravioli ahead of time and store in the fridge until you’re ready to fry them
  • If using frozen ravioli, defrost them first and pat dry with a paper towel
